Orpheu de Jong

Orpheu de Jong (1982) graduated in 2005 from the former Audiovisual Department at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. As an artist De Jong has participated in various group exhibitions and in September 2006 he had his first solo exhibition in the Van Gelder gallery in Amsterdam. Since 2004, Orpheu de Jong, together with graphic designer Marco Sterk, runs the multidisciplinary design company ' News'. Since its foundation News has easily navigated between the worlds of apllied and autononomous art and between commercial and cultural customers.
